Get started

Quickstart

Connect an account, start agents and answer them, on the Mac or in the browser.

  1. Pick where your agents run

    The Mac app runs agents on your Mac. The web app runs them on a Linux server you connect, or on a Miko Cloud machine. Requirements lists what each one needs.

  2. Connect an AI account

    On the Mac, open the ⋯ menu in the title bar and choose Add account…. In the web app, open Accounts and press Add account. You sign in through the provider’s own login. See Connect accounts and Connect AI accounts.

  3. Start agents

    On the Mac, press + on an account for one terminal, or + Agent in the title bar to choose how many per account. In the web app, press + Agent.

  4. Give Miko the goal

    Choose Miko in the title bar, press Start Miko and describe the work. On a Codex account, Miko hands each piece to an agent on your accounts. See Miko mode.

  5. Answer what needs you

    Questions and finished replies land in Needs you. On your phone, use Miko for iPhone or the web app.
