Miko for Mac

Miko mode

Tell Miko what you're working on. It splits the work and hands each piece to an agent on your accounts.

  1. Open Miko

Choose Miko in the title bar. The page asks What are we working on?

  2. Pick the account

Open Miko settings and pick the account Miko runs on. On the Mac, Miko starts on a Codex or a Claude account.

With Codex you also pick Model, Reasoning and Speed. Claude starts with its standard model.

  3. Start it

Press Start Miko, then tell Miko what you’re working on.

A Miko conversation on a Codex account can hand work to the agents in the app. Press Start Miko under Connect this conversation to Miko’s app agents. Each piece then goes to a terminal on one of the accounts signed in to the app.

A Miko conversation on Claude talks with you and works in its own terminal, but doesn’t hand work out yet.

Delegated work

Each piece appears as a card below the conversation, with its account and status. Open a card to see that terminal.

Statuses such as Queued Working Needs an answer Done

Live terminal

Live terminal shows Miko’s own terminal at any time. Back to chat returns to the conversation.

More conversations

Start new Miko conversation in the settings keeps the old one under Conversation.

In the web app, choose Miko in the top bar and press Turn on Miko for this project. A machine without it says Miko isn’t on this machine yet.
