Miko for Mac
Work in the grid
Type into the real CLIs, focus a terminal, change models and switch layouts.
Type
Type straight into any tile.
Every pane is the CLI’s own interface, as it runs in a terminal.
Focus
In Tiled terminals, double-click a title to focus that terminal. Press esc to return.
In any layout, use ↗.
Minimize and reopen
Minimize keeps a terminal running in the dock row.
A stopped Codex terminal keeps its thread. Reopen it with ↶ on the account rail.
Models
Codex title bars show a weekly usage meter and a model and effort button. Changes apply from the next turn.
In Claude and Grok, type /model inside the terminal.
Layout and theme
The ⋯ menu switches between Tiled terminals and Saved free placement, where you drag and resize panes yourself.
Work modes
The title bar tabs switch work modes: Miko, Code for the terminal grid, and Chat for conversations.
Chat starts and reads Codex and Claude. With other agents it says “Chat with … isn’t available here yet.”
Project tabs
Each project has Agents, Tasks and Git.
Tasks has Send a task and Saved tasks. Its queue shows each task under Working or Waiting, with who takes it and why it waits. Show opens that agent.
Git shows Project changes: working and staged changes, Commit and Refresh. Push from a terminal; the Git tab doesn’t push. The first time, it asks for your Mac password.
Map
⇧⌘M opens the map of your machines and agents. It has a Map and a Board view.
